Pressure Relief / Sustaining Valve

Purpose of Main Valve Installation:

Installed in transmission and distribution pipelines.

Function: Maintains pressure stability and safety of the water supply system.

 

Pressure Relief Function:

Protects the system from excessive pressure.

Automatically opens to relieve pressure when it exceeds the preset value.

Prevents damage to pipelines, pumps, and equipment.

Automatically closes once the pressure returns to normal.

Pressure Sustaining Function:

Maintains the inlet (upstream) pressure of the main valve at or above the preset value.

Prevents upstream pressure drops caused by high downstream water demand.

Ensures stable water supply to upstream service areas.
