Bi-Plane Valve

Used in reservoir water transmission pipelines to control high-pressure, high-velocity water flow.

Type:

The main valve is a multi-leaf type with a counterweight configuration and hydraulic servo actuator
   operation mechanism.

Composed of the valve body, valve disc, trunnion shaft, bearings, water seals, and other auxiliary
   operating components.

Materials:

Valve Body: Flanged connection, fabricated from welded steel plates, including valve disc trunnion
bearings, support base, stainless steel water seal seat plate, and mechanical position indicator.

Valve Disc: Multi-leaf welded steel structure, precision machined for high sealing accuracy with
the valve body; designed eccentrically to reduce head loss when fully open.

Trunnion Shaft: Made of stainless steel with chrome-plated surface; features replaceable water
    seal rings
to enhance leak prevention.

Water Seal: Made of rubber, replaceable without dismantling the main valve; ensures tight sealing
between the valve body and disc when fully closed.

Operating Conditions:

The main valve normally remains fully open; during maintenance of the unit or downstream pressure
pipeline, it should be closed only when upstream and downstream pressures are balanced.

When opening the main valve, ensure that water pressures on both upstream and downstream
    sides are balanced.

Under normal conditions, the main valve stays fully open; in emergencies, the valve can close
rapidly using the counterweight configuration after the guide vanes are closed.
