Surge Valve

Installation Location:

●Installed upstream of the inlet of a combination air valve.

Functional Features:

●Prevents sudden water surges from directly impacting the air valve.

●Reduces flow velocity to protect internal components.

●Prevents damage to air valve parts and extends service life.

Surge Protection:

●Prevents damage to the air valve caused by sudden flow increases during pump start-up or when
   the pipeline approaches full-pipe conditions.

●Protects internal components of the air valve from impact.

Full-Pipe Buffering Effect:

●When the pipeline becomes full or experiences a sudden large inflow:
    ▶Water rushes into the air valve manifold.
    ▶ The surge suppression valve closes the plug in advance to reduce the inflow.
    ▶Guides the air valve to close smoothly, preventing instantaneous water overflow.
